With artificial intelligence (AI) ever growing and self-learning, I believe it won’t be too far in the future where we won’t be able to easily distinguish between reality, and an AI generated fake.

A friend recently sent me several AI generated videos of my kids playing in the backyard of his house. What made the videos so disturbing was that he had taken still photos with his phone camera which were then generated into videos of an altered reality (AR) of my kids playing!

As the world continues to embrace and use AI, we are left to wonder—Is AI just another technological tool of advancement for making our lives better? Or is something more? A tool to be used for evil purposes, including Satan’s deceptions in the last days!

How could Satan—the grand master of deception, use AI to create an altered reality within our world? First by creating a world wide web of AI generated human knowledge that replaces or minimizes the Bible (God’s Word) as being relevant to today’s world views. Second, saturating the world with AI generated (fake) media to entertain, malign and deceive the world. Third, using AI to create an altered world view of what it means to be spiritual, thus preparing the way for his grand deception of impersonating Jesus as the promised Messiah on the earth—to be adored and worshipped by the world!

Jesus warns us, “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many” (Matthew 24:4-5, NIV). This would include the Serpent of Old and grand master of deception—Satan himself!
