Perfection one day met and slept with Self-wisdom
Which soon after gave birth to Pride.

Pride being a “bastard” child in the kingdom family
Eventually rebelled against perfection’s Father
and brought Division standing among the family.

Pride refusing to listen to Reason
Soon thereafter gave up his birthright to Humility
And had to move away to a far-off Eden. 

Sometime later while walking in Eden
Hand in hand with Misery, Pain, and Hatred 
Pride called upon Revenge to do a dastardly deed. 

Revenge quickly brought Temptation and Deception
And now with Revenge in hand, Pride got behind
Deception and laid Temptation out in front of Eve. 

Eve not seeing Pride hiding behind Deception,
Reached out and naively touched Temptation
Only to find and feel its deadly-painful bite.

Having been bitten with temptation’s venom
And now destined to die outside of Eden
Eve saw all the rottenness in Pride’s family tree!
